Horizon scanning uncovers emerging issues of change in training and development. Developments that will undoubtedly improve the overall effectiveness of training delivery are advances in brain science, namely “chunking” (active recall & interval reinforcement) and technology innovations (gamification, mobile learning & virtual environments).
At IRCA, we believe that training and development must incorporate the evolving science and integrate technology advances in the design and delivery of programmes to enhance competency-based learning.
IRCA facilitates a range of B2B and B2C training and education solutions on different platforms ranging from face-to-face learning, blended learning, distance learning and e-learning solutions in both the public and private sectors in the countries we operate.
Courses presented range from basic shop floor training aimed at the workforce, to highly technical, specialist modern risk assessment techniques for functional specialists. This ensures that individual needs of executives, management, supervisors, representatives and employees are addressed. Our courses are accredited and incorporate international standards.
We subscribe to a competency-based learning approach with a Foundation-Integration-Application framework, focusing on mastery of the required competencies as its key characteristic. Competency modelling as a cornerstone of human capital development concerns itself with the skills, knowledge and behavioural attributes required supporting successful performance in a particular position or role within the organisation / industry.
IRCA’s E-Learning platform is under the umbrella of the IRCA Training Academy and forms a central part of our learning delivery at both the vocational and higher education levels (domains).
